Must of been “work on your slider” day, because a veritable explosion of offense from both NY teams…um…exploded today.

Brett Gardner continues to rack up bases, with a double and dinger today.  I think he’s trying to tell us something.

Carlos Delgado continued his March artillery barrage, with a 3-run schwinger in the 3rd inning.  Looks like that ’72 Cadillac that he calls a hip is tuned up and ready for the Boulevard.

Johan Santana shrugged off a boo-boo elbow after tossing 31 pitches in a session.  He then refused to fly up to NYC for exams, telling reporters that he felt O-Tay.

Doesn't look hurt to me, either.

I’m hoping Johan keeps a diary of his Met years, really I am.
