MET FANS: That big diner right down the road from The Ramada Hotel has very good food. There is a dollar tree right across the street from The Ramada Hotel, where you can load up on snacks and energy drinks for an ultra-cheap price.
And don’t waste $20 parking at or near the stadium. If you are willing to walk about three quarters of a mile, you can park on the street for free. A ten or fifteen minute walk will save you $20 to park your car.
Yeah J Girardi made it official after the game, I guess. He can’t even do that right. Gardner just won the job and he throws in the caveat: He’s the guy on April 6 not necessarily June 1. Girardi has got to get rid of this platoon player mentality he has being a former one himself. Gardner won the job, I’m sure he realizes that it isn’t a “job for life”, let him enjoy it.
