Yanks win.  Mets win.
Yanks have 24 players set in stone for Opening Day.  My BBD article sums it up.  The more I talk about Ramiro Pena, the more I want to see him with the team.
Joba Chamberlain threw well.  Projecting through the season, a strikeout per inning is a no-brainer.  I anticipate the ERA to bounce around 3.20 as he stops nibbling and starts keeping his pitches around the plate.  Melky Cabrera is playing for something, but I don’t know what.  Today, it’s CC Sabathia’s final spring start, versus the Phillies.
Mets pounded the Marlins.  1-2-3-4 whacked eight of the team’s twelve hits.  John Maine went 83 pitches deep.  The bullpen was solid.  Jonathan Malo is the second coming of Kevin Miller. … (more…)
