Yanks have 24 players set in stone for Opening Day. My BBD article sums it up. The more I talk about Ramiro Pena, the more I want to see him with the team.
Joba Chamberlain threw well. Projecting through the season, a strikeout per inning is a no-brainer. I anticipate the ERA to bounce around 3.20 as he stops nibbling and starts keeping his pitches around the plate. Melky Cabrera is playing for something, but I don’t know what. Today, it’s CC Sabathia’s final spring start, versus the Phillies.
Mets pounded the Marlins. 1-2-3-4 whacked eight of the team’s twelve hits. John Maine went 83 pitches deep. The bullpen was solid. Jonathan Malo is the second coming of Kevin Miller. Today, it’s Johan Santana versus the Cardinals.

I said it Lev.
HA HA HA! Imagine a Red Sox fan falling off of The Green Monster? Even though it would be tragic, you have to admit that a part of you would be laughing your ass of!
Sorry Lib. Lib said the wing was done.
I dont know if anyone will ever fall, but we can hope.
They’d blame the Yankees, Shoe.
After my last comment and Joes, they will blame me, him AND the Yankees.
Jery Remy……… “Oh, we have a fifteen minute dalay. A fan fell off of the roof. And Tim Wakefield is REALLY pissed, because he was just getting his knuckler going! Can’t these fans die somewhere else?”…….
I can dream, can’t I?
Lupica would write that the yankees don’t have the quality of fan who would fling himself off the wall out of loyalty, like the socks have.
If wakeys knucler was working, they would just drag him inside and leave him lay in mannys piss stain til the game was over.
LB, funny.loopy is a dick.
“If the Yanks would have had to have had had the fans that would have would not have had to have had – obviously, the, yanks, are, bad, for, baseball.
Shoe it will probably be Jeffrey Maier reaching over the Monster against the Orioles in 2011. Umpire calls it a Red Sox HR because he didn’t think Theo would let him out of the Stadium afterward.
Maier goes over the wall but beats the Orioles twice.
HAHAHAHA
Video replay, baby!
Remember a couple of years ago, that Yankee fan that fell off the upper deck into the net? At least he was smart enough to get seats behind home plate, so in the event that he fell, he wouldn’t get hurt.
He was really embarrassed. He was sitting there in the net, and the game was delayed.
that dope planned that, didnt he joe?
I think so. Attention getting. But then, it looked like he regretted it when he was sitting there.
Hey, if they gave away free season tickets behind home plate in the field level with one condition, would you take them?
I went on a vision quest today to find home plate of the legendary Hilltop Park. Should have taken a map.
Filed level at Yankee Stadium, front row behind home plate, but with one condition……
Not as cool as it seemed in his pea brain.Probably didnt sell it from the start and knew he was in some trouble.
Remember the guy at Riverfront stadium who almost went off the upper deck?
I won’t make the same mistake tomorrow.
Have a good tonight.
Whats the condition Joe?
LB, couldnt find it?
The one condition is, Bud Selig enacts a new rule that there will be no more backstop to protect the fans from foul balls. Would you take it? Front row for your favorite team, for free?
He leaves when Idol is starting…….strange!
Bwahaha
Night El!
Now THAT would be one way of separating the REAL FANS from the mere mortals. HA HA HA!
Here’s the Yankee guy. Check out Posada’s ears. Looks like a shot from Buddio’s Ye Olde Photo Shoppe.
………. “Sissy! Afraid of a 95 mile-per-hour foul ball hitting you in the head? CHICKEN!”…… HA HA HA
Did Santana only throw 3 innings today?
Joe if you dont ask you are a better man than me.
Yeah J- I think that was the plan today (35-40 pitches)
Yeah Jrz – Gave up 2 bombs. The only 2 hits he gave up. Catch up to his heater and it’s a gonner.
CC only went 3 2/3 also. They hold em back like that regularly?
I mean regularly at the end of ST?
Yeah Jrz! I’m almost certain that they finished their work in the pen. It’s usually the way it goes with their last start.
Beckett did the same today. Yeah J, they do that for the opening day starters a lot. Just a “tune up” to stay on schedule.
guess they got alot to do with telling those clubhouse guys which box to put which spikes in.
They got Wang going on Fri and AJ on Sat?

That’s the Polo Grounds.
Look at the price article in the herald. They felt the need to justify getting shut down in their last 4 outs to a guy that will start the season at AAA.
Is that the bullpen just sitting out there in right center?
They were about 430 feet away.
Not even in foul territory.Guys just didnt hit the ball that far then, those cats had plenty of time to get out of the way on anything hit toward them.
Pettitte is throwing Saturday J
By then, I mean when they built it, not when they tore it down.
Hank Aaron put one out to deep center, 455 feet. three other players in history have done that.
