I know what you mean about the yuppies too. I was at Citi last night and it was a little quiet for my liking. The left field bleachers seemed to be the spot to be in. These prices are blocking the REAL fans from attending.
I know all about the yuppies …it was up hear way before it came down there… If you went into the old Maple Leaf Gardens to watch a game you could hear a pin drop…85% of the seats were corporate owned since the 70′s …it’s even worse now at the new Air Canada Centre…makes me sick
You know what they used to say about Johan in the AL?…He was the best 3-2 losing pitcher in the game. I think maybe his offensive teammates dont think they have to produce cause Johan is a sure thing….you are right Met’s cant think like that
Cee – One thing I could say about the Garden, it’s always rocking. I guess you can get away with it in the City! Plus, alot of die-hards have been able to retain their season tickets. I wonder how long that will last.
