Bases loaded, he struck out their best righty hitter, Miguel Cabrera, with his third best pitch, the curve. The bats came back from there. Hideki Matsui has turned the corner, officially. Nick Swisher has carried the team through April. Alex Rodriguez is coming back, maybe early. Melky Cabrera is awesome until he starts bunting balls off his forehead and getting hung up on the basepaths. Yanks come home for four games with the Angels, A.J. Burnett starts us off.
Jerry Manuel bats Dan Murphy third, bunts him, pinch hits for him. David Wright must no longer be David Wright, or something. Ramon Castro has a great day at the plate only to be pinch hit for in the ninth with the game on the line. Must be genius, because I don’t get it. Mets are off today, but come back Friday versus the Phillies.

I think Darryl Strawberry deserves sympathy, just like any other person going through a hard time. But there is NO WAY that one can point to Strawberry, and say that his behavior was morally superior to Joba Chamberlain’s. It’s the pot calling the kettle black. They both need treatment and sympathy, and that is what they are getting.

I’m so glad they beat the Angels,I HATE that team and their manager.I like the way the Yanks came back,they always have trouble with them-the Angel bullpen sucks this year,but their manager sucks every day.
