Jorge Posada, line drive base hit to left field. Nice way to end a mudder. Ramiro Pena fits in nicely. Nick Swisher’s x-rays were negative, he’s day-to-day with a bruised elbow.
Good things happen when Carlos Beltran resolves to get ‘em dirty. Dan Murphy – I’ll lay off that one.

Carl Crawford just stole his 6th base of the GAME. The Braves have 4 so far all year.
Rays just beat the Sux. When are home fans going to realize that they should interfere with their own team when a guy comes into the stands to make a catch? Some doofus with a Longoria shirt and a glove, I might add, just reached over Longoria’s glove to catch a foul ball in the stands and was dancing around after he did it. Longoria had a play on the ball and was not happy. They definitely gave the Sux another chance but no harm came of it.
Correction- fans should NOT interfere with their own team. Did I mention that I am sitting here typing with a baseball glove on?
Levi, LMAO.
I’m glad you were around to enjoy that one J. All my best material seems to come out when no one is around.
One of the headlines on The Boston Globe site is, “When will Remy return for Sox games?”. With headlines like that, I’m shocked they may go out of business.
Yea, just got in and saw the “typing with a glove on” post, too funny. You ever had a Blue Moon beer? I have had one before and am not big on fruit in beer but I had one with a orange slice in it and I have to say, that was a tasty beverage.
I am gonna look at the Globe link now.I had their broadcast the other night and thought Remy was in the booth.
I saw my beloved Tides drop an 11-7 decision against The Scranton Yankees today. Matt Wieters looked pretty good on defense. On offense, he looked OK. He isn’t doing badly on offense, but he is far from his ferocious three months last season at Frederick and Bowie. I think that he will catch fire soon, but I’d be surprised if he gets called up before July. Perhaps after the All-Star break.
In addition to my Tides hat, my Orioles shirt, my Orange Foam Finger, my big Orange Fist, and my Orioles jacket, my Orioles Rally Monkey made its debut today, at PNC Park.
Who pitched for the Tides, Joe?
Almost forgot….. My Orioles’ mask was there too!
Chris Waters. he pitched pretty good, but a guy in left field dropped a ball right in his glove with two outs, scoring two additional runs. Right in his glove… and they didn’t give him an error.
This “hip abductor” thing was a stroke of genius for the Yanks. It gave the Yanks an excuse to DL him and Wang something to pin as the “Cause” when it was really just him afraid of driving off that right foot.
Lib- You ranted that you didn’t know what it was did I?
Wang said his back “leg came up and I was getting to the front too quick.” On April 14 I posted that he might be subconsciously afraid to push off the right ankle. A couple of days before that I said he was out before his arm. The “GURU”, Billy Connors said, “He can’t push off. That’s where you get your push and your torque. His pitches were up in the zone.”

Lib- if you weren’t off playing in puddles, you would be around to talk about it-BWAHAHAHAHAHA
Shoe- I would have been disappointed if you said you left the mask and foam finger home. A day at the park, even in a loss, is better than a day at work.
J- I haven’t had Blue Moon in awhile but I have had it before. It’s Belgian, no? Good summer drink.
It’s made by Molson-Coors.
off playing in puddles…HAHAHAHAHA, I had to run back out for some tupperware, the sauce was too much for what we had in stock.I am gonna eat and then I am headed back south for a few days.Catch up with you guys tomorrow.
Joe, I saw your post about Waters.I will check out the box and get your take tomorrow.
Later.
Have a good one J.
