Trying to get the direct link to Winns career splits vs. LHP but it just keep says loading. If you click on “vs LHP as RH” it should give you his #s for every year….
Should be a fun ST, Very excited about Pena, Cervelli, Hughes, Chamberlain, Robertson, and hopefully Melancon. I’m not sure how deep this team is right now, hopefully the injury bug won’t hit, but that’s true for every team. The line up rocks pretty good if it stays healthy
Injuries are always a concern but I think the older cats the Yankees have know how to keep themselves in shape so I dont think they are at risk more than anybody else, regardless of age.
The kids should be fun to watch, I am looking forward to seeing what Hoffmann has. I really think he is a wildcard to get some playing time if he can have a good spring.
he’s hit in every spot in the line up.. Also he does very well when he’s ahead in the count ..bigga…
not so much with 2 strikes. I mentioned before he’s ranked 1 spot behind Cameron on the standard defensive chart on mlb.com
Yeah that stat page is just a drop down sub window J, it doesn’t seem to have a link attached to it. WordPress doesn’t copy and paste that page with any efficiency either
Here’s some breaking news for you the Yankees appear to have kicked Damon to the curb! They just signed Randy Winn I don’t have the details of the signing, but WTF are the Yankees thinking he can’t hit Left handed pitching for beans and he’s not much more impressive against right handed pitching!! He won’t be facing the pitching in the NL West any longer so his lack of hitting could become even more atrocious…Oh well I guess the Yankees are saving the money for next years class of FA’s.
I’ll tell you when I lost any respect for Roger was in 1986,I’m a friend of a longtime Sox player and I was at the Park on a night when Clemens was scheduled too pitch,I had seats directly across from first base and there was a kid standing along the railing just begging Roger to sign a ball for him, well after much effort Roger simply lost it and said he wasn’t signing anymore autographs and he wasn’t very diplomatic with his declaration,so the little boy wondered back to his seat which was not to far from my seat and i had watched the entire sequence play out,so after talking with the mother of the boy I found out that the little boy was a cancer patient who had just been released from the Hospital,so in an effort to repair the little boys belief in Roger As a good guy I went out of my way to try and get an autograph for him.Unfortunately for the little boy I wasn’t able to get Roger to sign the darn thing, even after conjoling my friends on The Sox after I tried too no avail I signed the darn thing.Yup,I forged his bleeping name and wished the boy well in his recovery in the inscription. I never talked to Roger again, and I was in the clubhouse on the night that they clinched a spot in the playoffs…I would just as soon spit on him as talk to him. Forget all the other stuff he’s done,he is in my eyes a dispicable human being.
"During my 18 years I came to bat almost 10,000 times. I struck out about 1,700 times and walked maybe 1,800 times. You figure a ballplayer will average about 500 at-bats a season. That means I played 7 years without ever hitting the ball." - Mickey Mantle
Yeah that’s a funny bunch, I can always count on those guys to fill the glass half to 3/4 full with their articles

I dont know why its not copying that last “LHP as RH”. That would take you right to his #s year by year as a “LHP as RH”
sorry
Is Cameron ranked high or low? I think you said something like 21 and 22? Is that where they rank compared to every OF in the game?

Yeah Cameron was 21 and Winn 22 I’ll try to find the link
They have Montero all the way down at #19 on this MLB list.
