The all star voting is done and Alex Rodriguez has decided that for millions that Texas may reneg’ on, Alex can be ARod in the second half. After a night like last night, when the Yankees scored six runs on five hits and ARod contributes just about all of the offense, he’s the most lovable a-hole in the game for a Yankee fan. The grand slam shocked John “Flah Flah” Flaherty in the booth so that he could barely stammer “grand slam” by the time ARod reached second. A favorable call on a 2-1 checked swing set up the bomb. CC Sabathia laid claim to his hometown mound, his mound, again going eight innings strong in Oakland. Derek Jeter is a mired man. David Robertson looks solid with a five-run lead. Curtis Granderson has many good things going with his game, except his batting average.
Johan Santana is bouncing back from some tough times, and last night might be a first glance at a brilliant second half. Johan nailed down his seventh career shutout versus a top offense. A little shaky towards the end, as Jason Bay muffed a routine fly ball (Angel Pagan sparkled in center all game long and was backing it up, luckily). Ike Davis erased the error with a diving grab of a Jonny Gomes humper. A pop fly later the game was in the books.

Actually, they were generally older, had awesome uniforms, and hit big. Some yuppies on my team (corporate team) were dumb enough to crack wise about their age BEFORE the game, and when you do that, you’re just asking for someone to kick your ass. These guys might have come out and given up in the heat but they played with a mission from being pissed off. Ended in a tie because we had to leave the field. Baseball humbles you at any level, and if baseball doesn’t humble you, then you will never be properly humbled.
‘nother run stranded……..fags
yanks looking fat, dumb, and happy.

Who’s this guy John Jaso on Tampa?
Go to the thread from the 1st game of the 1st series in Tampa and you will see me ask if anybody” knew anything about Jaso”
bro, I’m still behind in life. I’m catching up though, went from about four months behind to like two or so hahahahaha.
take it easy and enjoy. Amazing things are happening damn near every day in your life right now.
Wait til the little shit machine starts talkin
I’m there.
Cervelli is just old school rabbit-foot baseball. It’s like someone plunked him out of 1977.
I’m out, Peace.

pretty 3-6-3
hey fellas hope all is well. Nice sweep, on to Seattle, hopefully for some payback. I guess Eiland should get a raise, or start a daycare center. Tough to hear about Mo, hope he heals soon. Enjoy the tropical heat in NY. Keep the light on, Later
Just what Tampa needs, Cliff Lee. Bossman Jr and Milton Bradley on the same team? hahahaha. Turn the team colors into Prison blues.
Who the hell is Sternberg kidding, adding payroll, Lee is only owed $3 or $4M for a second half rental, that’s worth it’s weight in gold if they go deep into the playoffs even in that shit hole The Trop. Thanks to the BTV I was watching some AB’s from Youkilis the other night, i know he’s good and all that but that batting style is the dumbest looking thing I’ve ever seen
Kinda sissy looking isn]t it
Tex has more RBIs than anybody on the sox.
Tex is coming around…hopefully the AS break doesn’t stunt his offensive resurgence.

Sal…hahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahah
“With Swish a triple shy of the cycle he really made a nice push Wednesday night to beat out Youkilis and Konerko for the final spot in Anaheim. So if you don’t want to watch Kevin Youkilis get up on his tip toes, wiggle his fat ass, and hold the bat over his head with his finger tips like Johnny Weir at a “Stars on Ice Tour” I suggest you stuff the ballot box for the Yankee right fielder before the voting ends today.”
