If outs are precious and FanLaughs says no out is “productive”, how do they so easily sweep errors under the rug when an extra out is given to the other team?
On the replay it looked like he waited for the runner to pass and then took two steps before throwing to the plate pulling the catcher up the third base side and off home.
the trainer and tito came out to look at lesty around the 5th inning tonight. rempuppy and orsilly wondered if it was a cramp in his leg. not sure what it was or if he is ok but……
"During my 18 years I came to bat almost 10,000 times. I struck out about 1,700 times and walked maybe 1,800 times. You figure a ballplayer will average about 500 at-bats a season. That means I played 7 years without ever hitting the ball." - Mickey Mantle

damn fine question
you tell me, you got more in common with them clowns than I do.
Did Scutaro wait for the runner to pass on that missed force at the plate?
I only caught a glimpse of it on MLB Net and turned it off when God’s Brother Billy (Ripken) started talking.
Ripken did make a good point though asking why Scutaro was halfway, down 5-1 in the seventh.
I was in front of the computer and listening to the game in the other room, so I didnt see it, just heard orsillo(have it on nesn) say “E” scutaro.
Plenty of talk about Beltran being traded in the offseason.
Is there a lot of demand for a 34 year old making $18 million a year on an arthritic knee and hitting .215?
On the replay it looked like he waited for the runner to pass and then took two steps before throwing to the plate pulling the catcher up the third base side and off home.
AND, dont take that “in common” remark the wrong way. I mean occupationally(sp), NOT phillosophically (sp)
not at all.
to be honest, I added Beltran to the RSS for a day and then thought better of it so I cant see any GM giving up anything for him, but……
right on
and “(sp)” might have been a reach cuz I am not even sure “ocupationally” is even a word
Longoria at 3rd as the tying run w/ 1 out in the 9th……tie game as I am typing
capps coughed it up for minny
Things like that make you wonder if it is the Rays’ year.
If Mark Cuban wins the bidding, he would be a fool not to offer Nolan Ryan a piece of the action.
Torii Hunter got thrown out trying to steal third with no outs in the ninth and down 2 runs in Baltimore. WTF!!!
Cash register still rings for him though.
GO TA SLEEP

PeteAbe Masterson 2-10, 5.98 in 20 starts against teams not named #RedSox. But 2-0 (pending), 0.47 in two starts against his former club.
the trainer and tito came out to look at lesty around the 5th inning tonight. rempuppy and orsilly wondered if it was a cramp in his leg. not sure what it was or if he is ok but……

Was away from the computer to see both TB and the Red Sox lost tonight, now I can sleep feeling a lot better tonight
Tomorrow the Yankees are off,but Boston and TB play .Hopefully the day off will rejuvenate The Yankees for there week end series against the Red Sox.
kruk drawing a similiarity between Al hitting 600 and Jeter going 4-4 on the same day.
nice coincidence and I aint gonna argue with him if he thinks its significant
